About

Hi, I’m Elizabeth!

I am an Arizona-based photographer/videographer specializing in product photography and video.

I’m pursuing product photography and video as a means to combine my artistic interests with helping people market and sell their products. As someone completely new to this field, my first priority is to use this blog to document my learning experience. I’ll be tackling topics such as:

  • shooting
  • composition
  • set design
  • working with clients
  • technology (equipment, camera settings, editing apps)

The majority of my inspiration comes from my love for both French
Impressionism and Italian Renaissance art. My fascination with the many
uses of light and the concept of the still life is something that
influences many of my projects. Along with this, I derive a lot of
inspiration from my grandfather- who not only bought me my first camera,
but continues to document his own life through photos at the age of 85.
As for video, I’m a complete beginner.

During this time of uncertainty in my life, I want to make the most of the freedom I have to be creative and experiment. My hope is that documenting my journey will help inspire others to do so as well!

At the moment, here’s where I’m at:

Gear: Nikon D3400, 55mm lens, 300mm lens, my iPhone, and a piece of white styrofoam

Software: Affinity Photo, Adobe Premier (planning on purchasing Lightroom soon!), and the built-in editing gismo on the iPhone

Clients: 1

Enthusiasm: 100

Stay tuned for more 🙂
